AI für Dummies
“Ich hasse KI”…
… sage ich oft! Und “böse, böse – der Feind!” antworte ich, wenn Freundinnen mir auf Instagram mit KI generierte Bilder senden. Sie glauben mich damit zu inspirieren und erkennen selbst oft nicht, das da KI hintersteckt. Es verletzt mich, wenn Leute fragen ” Ist doch mit KI gemacht deine Arbeiten, oder?”. NEIN – sind sie nicht, denn es steckt viel eigene schöpferische Kraft (und Arbeit) dahrin. Aufklärungsbedarf! Aber abgehängt werden will ich auch nicht, ich will Bescheid wissen. Deshalb nun die Serie AI für Dummies. Damit auch ihr Bescheid wisst! P.S. Zu Demonstrationszwecken habe ich in diesem Artikel zum ersten mal und ausnahmsweise generative KI benutzt um eine schnelle Vorlage zum Zeichnen meiner Bildidee “Hand hält Androidschädel á la Hamlet” zu haben.

To AI or not to be? Es ist kompliziert. In vielerlei Hinsichten. ABER – ich will zumindest Bescheid wissen – und mein Wissen teilen! Helfen, eine Art Qualitätsbewusstsein für KI generiertes entwickeln. “AI für DUMMIES”, quasi. Mich eingeschlossen.
Wie werden Bilder, Videos, Texte mit unterschiedlicher KI Software generiert? Was ist noch eigener Schaffensanteil? Kann doch jeder – oder? Wie ist das mit den Urheberrechten? Welche Konsequenzen hat all das überhaupt?
Ebenso will ich meine persönlichen Erfahrungen, Gedanken und Emotionen zu KI teilen: Ängste, Sorgen, untugendhafte Gefühle wie Neid und Aggressionen. Unverständnis. Aber auch Faszination. Last not least: Schutz vor Fake News.
Also gehen wir es an!

To AI or not to be? It’s complicated. In many ways. BUT – I at least want to know – and share my knowledge! To help develop a kind of quality awareness for AI-generated data. “AI for DUMMIES”, so to speak. Including me.
How are images, videos and texts generated with different AI software? What is your own creative input? Anyone can do that – right? What about copyrights? What are the consequences of all this?
I also want to share my personal experiences, thoughts and emotions about AI: Fears, worries, unvirtuous feelings like envy and aggression. Lack of understanding. But also fascination. Last but not least: protection from fake news.
So let’s tackle it!

Formulieren Sie Ihren Textbefehl, den sogenannten Prompt. “Imagine”: Beschreiben Sie, was Sie sehen wollen. In welcher Farbigkeit? Pastelltöne, knallbunt, schwarzweiss…. Stimmung – z.B. realistisch, verträumt oder apokalyptisch? Sie können als Stil den Namen einer Kunstepoche angeben. Bitte keine einzelnen Künstlernamen, sie wollen diesen doch nicht ihre Arbeit stehlen oder? Proportionen? z.B. 1.1 oder 19:16.

Formulate your text command, the so-called prompt. “Imagine”: Describe what you want to see. In what colors? Pastel shades, brightly colored, black and white…. Mood – e.g. realistic, dreamy or apocalyptic? You can enter the name of an art epoch as the style. No individual artist names please, you don’t want to steal their work, do you? Proportions? e.g. 1.1 or 19:16.
