Invitation to Jury 9th China Illustration Biennial Shanghai

Dear Ms. Nolte,

It is with great pleasure that I extent to you, on behalf of Shenzhen Illustration Association (SIA), an invitation to be the member of International Jury for the 9th China Illustration Biennial 2023-2024.

Initiated by Shenzhen Illustration Association (SIA) , the China Illustration Biennial (CIB) has been held eight consecutive times from 2007 to 2022. Over the past sixteen years, the Biennial has been recognized internationally as one of the most influential professional biennials in the illustration industry in China. The 8th CIB attracted over 3 million visitors. Touring over 45 cities, including Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu and Tokyo, and was consid-ered a must-see exhibition for illustrators in China.

We are pleased to invite you to join the jury of the 9th CIB. We will need a short biography and your recent photograph to promote the Biennial. We would appreciate it if you could send them to contact@illusplus.com. The judging process is expected to take place in November and December 2023. The details of the accreditation process will be explained in the Annex . Please do not forget to check the enclosed Juror’s Agreement.
